Topical Times. This paper started off its life with the first issue No1 on the 18th October 1919. It continued as a paper until the outset of the Second World War, when it was deemed a paper shortage at the time stopped production. The final print being the 1071 issue on 25th May 1940. The paper itself went about several guises, it started as a sporting paper, and ended as a paper that spewed forth War stories and propaganda between England and Germany (Often making fun of Adolf Hitler and the German Reich). This superb paper gave away hundreds of Football, Cricket and Radio/TV stars that are very collectable today.
