There has always been an unpresidented amount of freebies given with all the ranges availale on the shelves from D.C. Thomson publishers. The below list represents some of the vast amount of items that were and still are given free today. Somewhere along the line the distinction between free and comes with crept in. Where the price of a comic years ago stayed the same and a comic showed an advertisement on the outside for Free With todays issue, the price now-a-days goes up to compensate some for the gift. This is still good value for money however and more appealing to the new reader.
