In attempting to write a book on D.C. Thomson publisher and printer, I was astounded by the huge variety of different issues they published each week or month. With them too seemed to be an unpresidented amount of freebies. This part of the site is here to show as many of these I can.

I have been reliably informed that the booklet shown above entitled "Hotspur Football Stars of  1948-49", is not by D.C. Thomson. This information was given by Mr Derek Marsden writer of Free gifts in the Big Five by Darsym Press, published 2005.
