Beano Annuals.
The first Beano Annual was first produced in 1940 and is still currently running today. Along with the annual The Beano comic is still a Wednesday buy and once a month the larger Beano Max hits the shelves. Comics in general aren't as popular as they were, I personally think this is mainly to do with the invention of TV, computers, video games etc. Where children were content with just a few pennies being spent on a comic each week, hundreds of pounds are now spent by their family to give them something to do.
The Beano has been a favourite for years and is still available! But in this recent climate of cut throat industry, for how long.
